Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has played down claims of unrest within the Nigerian camp following the team’s victory over Mozambique in the AFCON round of 16.
Lookman shared photographs of himself with Victor Osimhen and Bruno Onyemaechi on his official Instagram page on Tuesday, a day after the match, accompanied by the caption, “Together always.”
The post came amid criticism from fans over Osimhen’s animated reactions towards Lookman during the encounter, which fuelled online speculation about a possible rift between the two attackers.
Earlier while addressing the issue after the match, Lookman dismissed the claims, insisting there was no problem between himself and the Napoli striker. “It’s just football. It’s always football. He is my brother,” he said.
