Super Eagles star, Usman Muhammed, has spoken confidently ahead of Nigeria’s semi-final clash with Morocco on Wednesday.
Muhammed shared that he is happy with how things are going ahead of the clash.
He told reporters in Morocco, “Everything has been going well for now.”
Asked about the outcome of the match, the midfielder gave a clear and straightforward answer.
“Win for sure. That’s the only answer. Yeah. Win. A win. That’s all. That’s all we focus on. Yeah,” Muhammed stated.
Muhammed brushed aside the coaching staff’s comments about the team possibly being tired, saying there was no need to worry about fatigue.
He said, “Maybe he’s playing games, but I don’t think we’re tired, to be honest.”
Muhammed has not played in the tournament yet, and when asked if not playing has been disappointing even though he made the final squad, he stayed positive.
“No, because I know at every moment I’ll get my chance. So, I’m ready. I’m focused. I’m happy. You know, we’re winning. We’re just focused on winning.
“That’s all that’s important right now,” he said.
