The Surprising Way to Stop a Gas Fire Without Making Things Worse

Using gas to cook has become more and more popular around the world, but especially in Nigeria. This is because it is easier to use, quicker, and more efficient. In addition to all of its advantages, it also has certain drawbacks. Some of which could kill innocent individuals.

The primary risk associated with using gas is the potential for a gas explosion. Gas explosions are one of the main causes of death in many parts of Nigeria.

It is advised to stay away from it as a result. If your gas does cause a fire, don’t worry; there is a way to put it out.

1. Quickly saturate a towel in a bowel of water and detergent after finding it.

2. To put out the fire quickly, cover the cylinder with the towel wherever the explosion is coming from.

The saying goes, “Prevention is better than cure.” I’ll list a few things you should never do if you don’t want your gas to burst.

1. Inspect your gas nozzle to see if it’s broken; if it is, gas could leak and ignite.

2. Never, under any circumstances, fill your gas tank to the top; doing so may cause it to begin leaking.

3. Verify that your burner is operating properly. Burners with problems are more likely to catch fire and explode.
