According to the Bible passage above, ” But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, in your hearts, so that you don’t need anyone to teach you what is right.” This means that the Spirit of God that you receive by faith after being born again, lives within you, and resides in your hearts to teach you what is right, and according to 1Corinthians 2:12, we have received the Spirit of God so that we can know the things that God has freely given to us, and as 2Peter 1:3 reveals, God’s power ( given through the Spirit, Acts 1:8) grants us all things about life and godliness through the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ.

Since the Holy Spirit is right there with you to teach you, you don’t need anyone to guide you, and failure to submit to God’s Spirit so that he can teach you what is right to say and do, you may end up being tossed up and down by every wind of doctrine, sleight and cunning craftiness of men.

” For he teaches you all things, and he is the Truth, and no liar; and so, just as he has said, you must live in Christ, never to depart from him.” This second part of the scripture means that the Spirit of God will teach you all things, and he is the truth and not a liar means that he is the Spirit of Christ and is also God, Numbers 23:19 lets us know that God is not a man that tells lies. While the devil deceives people in other to draw them away from God, the Holy Spirit speaks and teaches to make one rooted in Christ, to live in him and never depart from him.
