BREAKING: Two Dead in Osisioma Crash as Abia Govt Shuts Down Company Premises

An accident involving a packed truck and a white Toyota Sequoia has claimed the lives of two occupants of the SUV at the Osisioma axis of Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt expressway, leaving other passengers seriously injured.

In response, the Abia State Harmonized Task Force, ASHTF Aba zone, sealed the premises of a company whose truck was involved in the accident to allow full investigation.

DAILY POST gathered that the Toyota Sequoia car crashed into the truck that was parked on the expressway, resulting in the instant death of two passengers.

The ASHTF officials, who were led by the Aba zonal Coordinator, Uche Wogi, said that the sealed premises would not reopen until further notice.

Also in their messages, two members of Abia State House of Assembly representing Osisioma Ngwa North and Osisioma Ngwa South constituency, Iheanacho Nwogu and Fyne Ahuama, respectively, described the incident as disturbing.

Meanwhile, the injured victims of the accident were taken to hospital for medical attention on Thursday.

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Abia State Sector Command, was yet to release official statement about the Osisioma accident, as messages sent by DAILY POST on Thursday have not been replied.
