A former presidential aide, Doyin Okupe has stated that he has passed the age of seeking for political appointment.

Doyin Okupe stated on his official Twitter page on Monday; “You do not know who I am @cristo20100405. My personal aspirations are few and I am a very contented man. I have passed the age of seeking for appointment. God has been extremely kind to me. I have had the privilege of serving two President’s closely. Periods when by the Grace of Almighty God, I wielded power and influence.”
The former Labour Party chieftain noted; “I have done my bit. Whatever I say or do now is for good of the country as an elder statesman with a repository of knowledge and experience. I no longer need NIGERIA to do anything for me, rather I am prepared to give my all to help in any little way I can to support the country and its leadership irrespective of who may be at the helm of power at any given time.”
