The suspects are Mr. Sunday Amulu from Uzo-Uwan in Enugu State, who was arrested as an accomplice to a suspect vandalizing iron protector at Premier Brewery along bridge, head Onitsha, Mr. Chukwuemeka Emoke from Nkalagu in Ebonyi State, the buyer of the vandalized iron who trades at Silas Works Street, Fegge Onitsha, and Mr. Ebube Agah, from Ezzi in Ebonyi State, a mechanic who operates at the newly constructed Port Harcourt Road, Fegge Onitsha.
Speaking while parading the suspects, the Onitsha South Council Secretary General Mr. Paul Onuachalla, bemoaned the activities of hoodlums at the council area saying the area is noted for accommodating all manner of people.>>>CONTINUE FULL READING HERE
He commended the council’s security agents for their tireless efforts in apprehending hoodlums and vandalizers in the area.
The Secretary General while warning people to stay away from vandalization of Government properties in the area as they are now ready to fish them out from their hideouts, stated that the apprehended persons will be handed over to police for prosecution.
Also speaking, the chief security officer of the council Area Mr. Echezona Ezeonyejekwe, said a lot of vandalization of both Government and people’s properties have been going on in the council area until they mounted few people at their flash points who usually give them information.
He disclosed that the arrest of the suspects was based on tip off by their informants which led to the apprehension of messers Sunday Amulu and Chukwuemeka Emoke and warned people to stay away from tempering with government properties and projects as anyone caught will be made to face the full wrath of law.>>>CONTINUE FULL READING HERE
