According to a report by The Jerusalem Post on March 14, 2026, the United States Central Command carried out a major strike on Kharg Island, one of Iran’s most important oil export terminals, following an order from US President Donald Trump.
On Friday, Trump confirmed that American forces had conducted the operation and said the mission targeted key military sites on the strategic island.
