Iran’s top security official, Ali Larijani, has issued a message to the Muslim world urging Islamic countries to reconsider their alliances and warning that the United States cannot be trusted while describing Israel as a common adversary.
In the message addressed to Muslims and Islamic governments, Larijani said Iran remains “steadfast” in its confrontation with the United States and Israel amid the ongoing regional conflict. He urged Muslim nations to reflect on the future of the region and warned that reliance on Washington would not guarantee security.
“America has no loyalty to you and Israel is your enemy,” Larijani said in the statement, calling on countries across the Islamic world to reassess their political positions.
The remarks come as tensions continue to rise across the Middle East following the escalating war involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. The conflict has spread across multiple fronts, including missile strikes, drone attacks, and military operations targeting strategic sites throughout the region.
Larijani also suggested that many Muslim governments had remained silent during the conflict, questioning why stronger support had not been offered to Iran. Despite this, he insisted that Tehran’s struggle was not aimed at dominating other countries but at resisting what he described as external aggression.
The Iranian security chief emphasized that Iran intends to continue defending itself and warned that the country’s armed forces remain prepared for a prolonged confrontation if necessary. Iranian leaders have repeatedly said their military actions are aimed at deterring future attacks and protecting national sovereignty.
The statement reflects Iran’s broader attempt to rally political and public support across the Muslim world as the conflict continues to intensify, with regional stability and global energy markets increasingly affected by the ongoing hostilities.
