His Royal Highness, Mujahid Asari Dokubo, the Amayanabo of Torusarama Piri (Elem Kalabari) in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State and a former militant leader, has reacted to reports that individuals were allegedly reporting him to authorities in the United States and Israel over comments he made concerning international developments.
Dokubo made the remarks during a live video broadcast on his official Facebook page on Thursday, March 12, 2026, where he addressed the allegations and spoke about his religious identity while also commenting on the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
During the broadcast, the traditional ruler dismissed claims that being reported to foreign countries would have any effect on him. “You are reporting me to America and Zionist Israel will not make any difference. They don’t own this world. They are not as powerful and invisible as you think,” he said.
Dokubo also reiterated his religious identity and responded to criticisms surrounding the terms used to describe him. “I am a Muslim. I am a jihadist. There is nothing wrong being a jihadist. Islam commanded me to carry out jihad, so I am a jihadist. You can give your interpretation of jihad,” he said.
