Barcelona Star Rashford Quietly Outshining Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius and Lamine Yamal This Season
According to a report by The Sun, Marcus Rashford is making a significant impact at Barcelona this season, surpassing high-profile players such as Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal in key statistics.
The Manchester United forward, currently on loan at Barca, has adapted quickly to Spanish football and is showing some of his best form in recent years.
Rashford, 28, faced challenges at United under Ruben Amorim before moving on loan to Aston Villa in January.
While he displayed glimpses of his talent at Villa Park, particularly in European competition, his performances in Barcelona have been exceptional.
Rashford currently leads LaLiga in assists, having created five for his teammates, outpacing players including Mbappe, Yamal, and Vinicius Jr. Across all competitions, he has scored six goals and contributed nine assists, earning a regular place in Hansi Flick’s starting lineup.
He has also scored four times in just four Champions League matches, including a spectacular strike in the victory over Newcastle.
The forward’s resurgence marks a notable turnaround after periods of inconsistent form in recent seasons.
Rashford has reflected on the challenges he faced, citing frequent changes in environment and circumstances as factors that made maintaining consistency difficult.
He said: “I feel like I’ve been in an inconsistent environment for a very, very long time.
“So it’s even more difficult to be consistent. I think consistency is what I need to bring into my game and I’m looking to do that.
“Obviously, I want to be at my best, not sometimes, but as often as possible.”
He is now focused on establishing a steady rhythm in his game, aiming to perform at his best regularly and regain the enjoyment of the sport.
