BREAKING: 5 Litres Of PMS Costs As Much As N10,000 To N20,000 When Being Sold In The Bush To Terrorists -Usman

Retired Brigadier General Kukasheka Usman, who previously served as the Director of Army Public Relations for the Nigerian Army, has claimed that residents are providing essential goods to terrorists hidden in the bush at exorbitant prices, with petrol costing as much as 20,000 naira for only five litres.

During a discussion on Arise TV, Usman outlined the financial dynamics of the bush economy that is supporting the insurgency, indicating that it requires significant attention.

“At times, even in the northwest, a bottle of Coca-Cola — ignoring the recent price increase — can be priced at around 3,000 naira. Individuals view this merely as a chance to profit quickly. The same scenario applies; five litres of petrol, also known as PMS, can be sold for between 10,000 and 20,000 naira when trading in the bush with terrorists,” he noted. See More In Details…
