Super Eagles duo Stanley Nwabali and Calvin Bassey have made the Best X1 of the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.

Nwabali earned his spot as the best goalkeeper of the round after making a number of vital saves in Nigeria’s 4-2 penalty shootout loss to hosts Atlas Lions of Morocco.
The Chippa United shot stopper was awarded the highest points (nine).
Bassey, who was outstanding at the heart of the Super Eagles’ defence against Morocco was awarded 8.1 points.
The defender will miss Nigeria’s third-place encounter with Pharaohs of Egypt due to suspension.
