Reverend Christie Bature has shared a startling account of her childhood exposure to alcohol, revealing how she began drinking at a very young age due to her family environment and eventually stopped after a dramatic experience in church.
Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch on Glitch Africa Studio, Bature explained that her father, who struggled with alcoholism, introduced his children to alcohol early in life.
According to her, drinking became normalised in the household, with each child exposed to alcohol from a tender age.
