According to report by Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, April 11, 2026, Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed, on Saturday made an unscheduled visit to Duguri to meet rescued kidnapping victims currently receiving medical care at the Duguri Model Primary Healthcare Centre.
He was accompanied by his deputy, Rt. Hon. Auwal Jatau, alongside senior government officials and top security chiefs including the Commissioner of Police, the Director of the DSS, and representatives of the 33rd Artillery Brigade, among others.
