A scene of mayhem unfolded in Owerri, Imo State, as a crowd scrambled for empowerment gifts meant for selected members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at an event organised by President Ahmed Tinubu’s support group, Cityboys Movement.
Eyewitnesses reported that, despite a heavy security presence, the crowd overwhelmed the distribution point, disregarded the list of beneficiaries, and made off with items including bags of rice, sewing machines, and minibuses.
The incident caused disappointment among the dignitaries present, including Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, who attended the event. See More/Details
