Embattled Pastor Chris Okafor, Founder of Grace Nation Global (popularly known as Liberation City), has recounted how his ministry was shaped by a remarkable encounter with Reverend Chucks Elezie, an Anglican priest who was also a banker at the time.
According to a report by VANGUARD on Saturday, March 14, 2026, Pastor Okafor said Reverend Elezie admired the way he ministered and decided to support him. He said Elezie welcomed him into his home, where he lived with his wife and children in a three-bedroom flat.
Pastor Okafor explained that this act of kindness became a turning point in his life and ministry. He said Reverend Elezie has since relocated to Canada, where he continues his priestly duties, but they remain in close contact. See More/Details
