Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said the mere act of issuing threats to strike Iran’s “energy and industrial infrastructure” constitutes a violation of international humanitarian law.
He also accused Washington of giving Israel what he described as a “green light” to attack civilian targets.
According to Baghaei, such actions breach both international humanitarian law and the International Criminal Court statute, which governs the prosecution of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
