Former Jigawa State Governor, Mallam Sule Lamido, has expressed deep concern over the current state of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), warning that the party is straying from its founding mission of defending democracy in Nigeria.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Trust, Lamido highlighted the urgent need for strategic solutions to address internal conflicts and ensure the party’s survival.
According to Lamido, the PDP faces significant structural challenges, particularly following ongoing litigations that have left the current leadership under Abdulrahman Mohammed as the only operational authority.
