Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has taken to her official X handle to react to the statement that president Tinubu solved a fifteen-year-old problem in the petroleum industry. According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she disclosed the reasons why the solution did not make the headlines.
Many were left stunned after the reports of how president Tinubu solved a fifteen-year-old problem in the petroleum industry went viral across various social media platforms.
An X user identified as Jayjam Adebayo, who shared the revelation on his official X handle, lamented the lack of publicity that trailed the solution provided by the president.
“President Tinubu has just solved a 15-year-old Petroleum Industry issue, and the street is quite?” He had asked.
His comments, which triggered massive reactions, caught the attention of Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of the Nigeria in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM).
According to her statements which were shared on her own official X handle on Friday March 7th 2026, she pointed out that many were only interested in negative reports about the president.
However, while describing the solution provided by president Tinubu for the fifteen-year-old problem as a masterstroke, she pointed out that negative reports travels faster than positive reports.
