BREAKING NEWS: Israeli Air Force Strikes Dozens of Targets in Iran, Including IRGC Command Sites

According to a report by The Times of Israel on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the Israeli Air Force conducted a wave of airstrikes across Tehran and western Iran today, hitting dozens of Iranian regime infrastructure sites, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

During the operations, the IDF reported that fighter jets identified Iranian soldiers operating at a headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran. The military said the soldiers were struck and killed moments later, and footage of the strike was published.

According to the IDF, other strikes in Tehran targeted headquarters and command centers of the IRGC air force. A compound at Imam Hossein University, the IRGC’s military academy, which was reportedly used as a staging ground by Iranian soldiers, was also struck. Additional targets included ballistic missile storage and production sites, as well as air defense missile installations.

The military said its operations extended beyond Tehran, striking headquarters and military bases of Iran’s internal security forces and the Basij paramilitary force. A headquarters of Iran’s intelligence ministry was also targeted during the airstrikes.

The IDF described the operations as part of a new stage in the war, aimed at “deepening the blow to the core arrays of the Iranian terror regime and its foundations.”

Officials said the strikes were carried out with precision to target key military infrastructure and personnel, underscoring the Israeli military’s focus on degrading the operational capabilities of Iran’s armed forces and intelligence apparatus.

The military emphasized that the airstrikes were coordinated across multiple sites simultaneously to maximize impact on critical Iranian regime assets. Targets included facilities used for missile production, military training, command and control, and intelligence operations.

Footage released by the IDF shows fighter jets engaging targets in Tehran, with several strikes reportedly hitting high-value locations associated with the IRGC. The military said the attacks demonstrate its ability to conduct coordinated operations against multiple strategic targets in Iran.

The airstrikes mark a significant escalation in ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran, highlighting the IDF’s stated objective of targeting the regime’s core military and intelligence infrastructure.

The IDF said the campaign is intended to disrupt Iran’s military operations and weaken the foundations of what it described as the Iranian terror regime, while continuing to monitor developments for further operational opportunities.
