BREAKING: Obi–Kwankwaso or GEJ–Kwankwaso Ticket Would Be Ideal — Galadima

During an interview on News Central TV, Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), spoke about ongoing political consultations among opposition figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Galadima revealed that discussions are being held with several prominent politicians across different political parties as efforts continue to explore possible alliances capable of challenging the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next presidential election.

According to him, some of the individuals involved in these conversations include former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, and other political stakeholders.

He explained that many Nigerians who are dissatisfied with the current administration believe that a strong coalition involving Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and either Obi or Jonathan could pose a serious challenge in the next election. However, he noted that politics remains dynamic and that no final agreement has been reached regarding any specific political arrangement.

According to him, “We have been talking to several politicians, Peter Obi, Jonathan, Rotimi Amaechi, and a host of others. It is the wish of Nigerians; 90 percent of Nigerians who don’t see anything good in the administration of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu believe that only a combination of either Obi-Kwankwaso or Jonathan-Kwankwaso would uproot the party.

So in politics, there’s nothing impossible; for now, there’s nothing on the ground to suggest or to say with certainty that this is what will happen, but it’s the wish of every Nigerian, including myself, and I want to extend, including you people, that we should pray very hard for the sake of Nigeria, for the survival of Nigeria, that one of these combinations take effect.”
