According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Friday, March 20, 2026, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Arakchi sharply criticized the United States on Friday, challenging recent American statements regarding Iran’s military capabilities amid ongoing regional tensions.
Speaking in an official statement, Arakchi accused Washington of misrepresenting the reality on the ground, drawing historical comparisons to previous U.S. conflicts. “The U.S. government is selling illusions today, just as it did in Vietnam,” he said.
