According to a report by Daily Trust on Sunday, March 15, 2026, the Kanam Development Association (KADA), representing residents of Kanam Local Government Area in Plateau State, has recounted a deadly attack by bandits on security personnel and community vigilantes in Wanka community, Kyaram district.
