In a message published by Iran’s state broadcaster Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and reported by Russian outlets including TASS, Putin expressed deep sympathy over the loss, describing Larijani as a key figure in Iran’s leadership and a strong ally of Moscow.
“Please accept our deepest condolences on the death of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Larijani,” Putin said.
