He explained that previous engagements with the United States had not produced favorable outcomes for Iran, which has made the country reluctant to pursue further discussions under the current circumstances.
The crisis reportedly began after the United States and Israel carried out joint military strikes on Iranian targets on February 28. These strikes occurred just before another round of diplomatic negotiations between Washington and Tehran was expected to take place.
