Niger Delta leader and Kalabari chieftain, Mujahid Asari Dokubo, has weighed in on the heavy fighting currently shaking the Middle East. Speaking in a video shared on Facebook this Thursday, Dokubo argued that despite the military might of the United States and Israel, defeating Iran will not be an easy task.
The tension follows the major air and missile strikes launched by US and Israeli forces against Iranian strategic sites on February 28, 2026. While the world watches the heavy bombardment, Dokubo believes the attackers are underestimating their target.
“Israel and the U.S.: All of them put together; if it’s not a conventional war, they can never defeat Iran,” Dokubo stated. He pointed out that Iran’s use of drones, missiles, and proxy fighters makes them a very difficult enemy to finish off on the battlefield.
Many Nigerians watching the clip expressed shock at the scale of the destruction in the Gulf region, with many fearing a global economic crisis. Dokubo insisted that unless leaders look beyond grammar and bullets toward real diplomacy, this war will only bring more pain to the world.
