A video making the rounds of President Donald Trump at the swearing-in ceremony of the new Department of Homeland Security Secretary highlights his “discoloured” hands and “drooping face.”

Responding to the video, users claim, “The way he’s looking around makes it seem like he knows something is happening with his body,” according to a popular tweet, whilst others note that Trump was speaking as if his hands are “heavy” and he can’t raise them.

Another user observed that Trump’s “arms look like balloons,” as he spoke. This isn’t the first time this month that the public has raised concerns about Trump’s potential health issues, all of which have been dismissed by the White House.

Viewers of a Monday afternoon roundtable in Memphis featuring President Donald Trump expressed worries about the commander in chief’s physical state.

About an hour into the meeting, which started roughly 20 minutes early, the president appeared to struggle with sleepiness after delivering his speech and listening to other participants.

This also arrives just a week after the US President, who is now 79, was hosting an event for Women’s History Month alongside First Lady Melania at the White House when he gave a shout-out to Kellyanne Conway.

“Struggling to stay awake,” one X user reacted. Another observer remarked, “Other people’s speeches bore him. “He is soooo bored,” a third person agreed.

There was an issue, however, as he seemed to confuse Conway, who served as Senior Counsellor to the President from 2017 to 2020, with his current press secretary, Karoline Leavitt.

In his speech, Trump thanked Conway, asking the audience: “And of course Kellyanne Conway, has anyone ever heard of her? He continued: “She’s fantastic. She’s in there fighting. A friend of mine said, ‘You know that Kellyanne, I admire the way she goes in there and she screams at those people’ – meaning the media, because this is a man who doesn’t do very well with the media, it’s just one of those things. But thank you, Kellyanne.”

Viewers expressed their worry over the president’s apparent mix-up. One social media user remarked: “He’s confusing Karoline Leavitt with Kellyanne Conway? Am I hearing that correctly?”

The President has also been seen with unexplained bruising on both hands, despite the White House maintaining it was from “frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin.” Trump takes 325 milligrams of aspirin daily – four times the standard dose for his age, reports the Express US.

During the Medal of Honour ceremony, Trump seemed to fumble his words, stating: “Finally, we honour one more soldier, a fallen warrior of the world… of wars.”

He has also been captured in photographs with what seems to be an unexplained protrusion beneath his suit jacket, sparking rumours about health related equipment on his person.
