According to Daily Post on Saturday, March 14, 2026, There is serious tension in Plateau State following claims by Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo that the federal government redirected planned U.S. military support away from Christian communities.
The COCIN Regional Chairman expressed deep shock, saying his efforts to get help for his people were allegedly blocked.
Rev. Dachomo, who is well-known for organizing mass burials for victims of attacks in Plateau, revealed that he personally reached out to President Donald Trump for urgent intervention. He wanted the U.S. military to help stop the constant killings in the Middle Belt.
However, when the U.S. finally launched precision Tomahawk missile strikes on Christmas Day 2025, the bombs fell on ISWAP and Boko Haram camps in Sokoto State, not Plateau.
