BREAKING: We Respect Iran Right To Elect Supreme Leader US Attack Illegal Act, Can Never Be Tolerated—N’Korea

According to a report by The Sun, on Wednesday March 11, 2026, North Korea has expressed strong support for Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

‎The announcement comes after the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, in an Israeli airstrike on February 28, North Korean state media said the country respects the decision of the Iranian people to choose their leader.

‎North Korea criticized the United States and Israel for actions that it said harm regional peace and global stability, North Korea accused the two countries of trying to interfere in Iran’s political system and sovereignty.

‎Pyongyang has often opposed US and Israeli actions in the Middle East, officials described attacks on Iran as illegal and dangerous and warned that such actions could destabilize the region and deserve international condemnation.

‎“We respect Iranian rights and choice to elect their supreme leader. US attacks on Iran is illegal acts, that can never be tolerated,” North Korea said.
