According to a report by the Daily Post on Sunday, March 15, 2026, former Nigerian Head of State, Yakubu Gowon, has expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the president is making considerable efforts to manage the country’s affairs. Gowon shared his views on Saturday after a meeting with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
