The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has said he is ready to appear before any interviewer anywhere in the world to defend the policies and programmes of the current administration.
According to a media post by Honourable Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Policy Communication, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, the presidential aide reacted to widespread discussions on social media following his recent interview with journalist Mehdi Hasan.
Bwala stated that when he accepted the responsibility of serving in President Tinubu’s administration, he fully understood the demands of the role, which includes promoting and defending the government and its policies.
He emphasized that he has never subscribed to avoiding or dodging interviews, noting that engaging critics and addressing issues such as security, the economy, and corruption are part of his responsibilities.
The presidential aide also explained that although the interview included questions about his past political comments, he considers such developments part of normal political discourse.
Bwala expressed appreciation to Nigerians and others who commended his performance and said he looks forward to further engagements where discussions can focus on the administration’s policies and achievements.
