According to Arise News, a leading Israeli missile defense expert has issued a stark warning regarding the growing threat of cluster munitions, stating that once these warheads deploy their sub-munitions, defense systems are rendered virtually ineffective.
Speaking at a defense technology symposium in Tel Aviv, the specialist explained that the window for neutralizing a missile equipped with a cluster warhead is extremely narrow. Unlike a unitary warhead, which must be struck to be destroyed, cluster munitions disperse dozens or even hundreds of smaller bomblets mid-flight.
