From What I Learned Umahi Paid Ohiri 110M To Make A Video That Is Favorable To Him- Omoyele Sowore

In a video shared by Symfoni TV, Nigerian activist and political commentator Omoyele Sowore reacted to recent developments involving businesswoman Tracy Ohiri and the Minister of Works, David Umahi.

Commenting on the matter in the video, Sowore spoke about what he described as a civil settlement between the parties.

“From what I learned, he paid her 110 million naira to make a video that is favorable to him. It is called a civil settlement in court.”

According to him, such arrangements are sometimes used in legal disputes as a way for individuals to resolve disagreements without prolonged court proceedings.

Sowore explained that civil settlements are common in legal practice, where parties involved in a disagreement may choose to resolve their differences through financial agreements or negotiated terms rather than continuing with litigation.

He noted that such resolutions can bring disputes to a close and prevent further legal battles.
