I Don’t Understand Why Ministers Don’t Follow BAT’s Instructios On How They Travel – Oshiomhole

Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State and APC Chieftain has decried the level of arrogance within president Tinubu’s cabinet. According to his statements which were shared by News Central TV, he pointed out that the president’s instructions regarding travels were largely ignored.

In response to the request made by Taiwo Oyedele, the newly appointed minister of state for finance, the former Labour Congress president made the stunning comment, disclosing the level of arrogance in president Tinubu’s cabinet.

Taiwo Oyedele, it can be recalled, had raised serious concerns over the humongous amount paid on government expenses, including debt service and other related expenditures.

He also disclosed that the welfare of workers, especially public servants should be prioritized. This, according to the minister, was largely ignored as more amount were thrown into funding travels.

Speaking during a plenary session at the national assembly on Wednesday March 11th, 2026 Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State and APC Chieftain put up an impressive argument.

According to his statements, he pointed out that while wages are non-negotiable, some ministers within president Tinubu’s cabinet were acting on their own accord.

The inability of certain ministers to adhere to President Tinubu’s instructions on travels, according to the APC Chieftain, left many in bewilderment.

However, he pointed out that as a new member of the cabinet, Taiwo Oyedele should lead by example, and also set a precedent for others in order to actualize the widely sought after national development.
