Veteran Nollywood actress and ordained minister Eucharia Anunobi has opened up about her past marriage, explaining why she no longer bears her former husband’s name.
Speaking during a conversation on The Honest Bunch Podcast, produced by Glitch Africa Studios, the actress spoke frankly about her personal life while discussing her journey through fame, faith, and the challenges she has faced over the years.
During the interview, Eucharia Anunobi clarified her current identity and marital status. She explained that although she was once married in a court ceremony, the relationship eventually came to an end.
According to her, the marriage did not include the traditional rites that are common in many Nigerian families, and there was also no church wedding. She stated clearly that the union has since been dissolved and that she has removed her former husband’s name from her identity.
The actress stressed that the name has been completely taken out of her life, adding that the chapter of that relationship has already been closed.
