Iran Had All The Missiles, Far More Than Anyone Thought, And They Were Going To Attack Us- Trump

According to Nigerian Tribune, President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran possessed a far larger missile stockpile than previously estimated and was on the verge of launching an attack against the United States.

The US leader made the statement on Monday while speaking to House Republicans during their annual policy retreat in Florida.

According to Trump, intelligence suggested that Iran was preparing for a major strike against the United States within a short period of time.

Stressing the seriousness of the situation, he told lawmakers that the threat was imminent.

“I’ll give you the best reason of all. Within a week, they were going to attack us, 100%. They were ready,” Trump said.

He further claimed that Iran had accumulated a much larger number of missiles than analysts had initially assumed.

“They had all these missiles, far more than anyone thought, and they were going to attack us.”

Trump’s remarks come as the United States continues its military operations against Iran.

The campaign, which has involved coordinated strikes and pressure on Iranian military assets, has heightened tensions between the two countries.

Despite the ongoing confrontation, Trump indicated that the conflict could be approaching its conclusion.

In a phone interview with CBS News on Monday afternoon from his golf club in Doral, Florida, the president suggested that US forces had already significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities.

He argued that American actions had disrupted several key components of Iran’s defense infrastructure.

“I think the war is very complete, pretty much,” Trump said during the interview. He went on to describe the damage allegedly inflicted on Iran’s armed forces.

“[Iran has] no navy, no communications, they’ve got no air force. Their missiles are down to a scatter. Their drones are being blown up all over the place, including their manufacturing of drones.”

Trump’s comments reflect his belief that the military campaign has achieved its primary objectives and has severely reduced Iran’s ability to carry out large-scale attacks. See more
