In a recent video shared on Facebook on Thursday, March 12, 2026, Niger Delta activist and Kalabari chieftain, Asari Dokubo, spoke about the escalating conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, and addressed perceptions of Iran’s global support amid the crisis.
Dokubo argued that despite diplomatic statements and historical ties, Iran’s current position in the conflict reflects a lack of full backing from powerful global allies. He said that the way major countries are responding should shape how people understand the broader geopolitical situation.
According to Dokubo, “Iran is standing alone; nobody is with them — Russia and China are not even fully supporting Iran.” He made the remark in reference to how global powers have reacted since the outbreak of hostilities, suggesting that diplomatic criticism without material support indicates limited practical backing for Tehran.
