IRAN WAR: US Approves Massive $16.5bn Arms Deal As Iran Tensions Explode

The agreement is said to encompass a variety of sophisticated military assets including drones, missile technology, radar systems, and upgrades for aircraft, all aimed at enhancing the defensive skills of the region.

The United Arab Emirates is projected to secure the largest portion of this deal, estimated at over $8.4 billion, which includes advanced weapon systems and improvements to its F-16 fighter jets.

Kuwait is anticipated to gain a significant advantage as well, with around $8 billion designated for air and missile defense radar systems that are meant to enhance early warning and threat interception capabilities.
