Nollywood actress Queeneth Hilbert has publicly apologised to fellow actress Destiny Etiko while announcing that she will be taking a break from social media.
The actress shared the message through a series of posts on her verified Instagram page, @queenethhilbert, where she addressed Destiny Etiko directly and spoke about the misunderstandings between them.
In her message, Queeneth said that gossip from some individuals created tension between them. She described such people as “blabbermouths and gossip mongers”, noting that they carried stories from one person to another and made the situation appear worse.
Queeneth admitted that the issue was not handled well and acknowledged that she made mistakes. She asked Destiny Etiko for forgiveness and said she understands how hurtful the situation may have been.
The actress also stated that nobody is perfect and that everyone has flaws, adding that she hopes time will help bring healing.
Queeneth further revealed that she has relocated back to her base in Abuja and would only travel when necessary for work.
She added that she no longer wants to be associated with what she described as “Asaba wood gossip” and plans to focus on finding peace and protecting her family.
Queeneth concluded by thanking her fans for their support while she takes time away from social media to reflect and rebuild.
