In a recent interview shared by News Central TV, SSA to the Executive Governor of Bauchi State on empowerment, Khalid Barau, dismissed speculation that Governor Bala Mohammed may defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking during the programme, Barau reaffirmed the Bauchi governor’s commitment to the opposition party despite ongoing internal disagreements and recent defections that have unsettled the PDP across several states.
The political aide insisted that Governor Bala Mohammed remains deeply rooted in the party and has no intention of leaving, stressing that his political identity and leadership style are closely tied to the grassroots support that brought him to power.
“My governor is not leaving Peoples Democratic Party. He is a grassroots politician, and I believe Bala Mohammed will be the last man standing in the PDP,” Barau said. See More/Details
