Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has advised Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State to be wary of his political isolation as the ranks of the main opposition continue to thin out.
In a satirical message posted on his X handle on Sunday, March 15, 2026, Sani used a telecom-themed metaphor to highlight the precarious position of the Oyo Governor. He remarked that if Makinde attempts to reach his colleague, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, on his MTN, Airtel, or Glo lines without success, he should realize he is effectively on his own.
