Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has stated that she divorced her husband because of domestic violence
In an interview on With Chude, Blessing said her ex-husband beat her a day before their wedding. She stated he also beat her on their wedding day as they were preparing to go to the church.
Blessing said her ex-husband beat her for not packing plates. She said her chief bridesmaid and other friends who witnessed the incident are still alive to confirm her statement.
In Blessing’s exact words: “On my wedding day they beat me to the altar. They beat me a day to the wedding and even beat me to the altar and I still married him (sic). He beat me in front of my chief bridesmaid, they are still there. When I tell this story and people say it is a lie she will just be laughing. He didn’t beat me privately, he beat me in front of my friends because I did not pack plates”
