According to a recent video by Brekete Family on Friday, March 13, 2026, a Nigerian man identified accused a pastor of defrauding him of ₦6.1 million under the pretext of securing a Canadian work visa. Ala made the allegation during a complaint session on the Brekete Family programme hosted by Ordinary Ahmed Isah.
According to the victim, he was introduced to Pastor Shalom in 2024 by another cleric, Pastor K Gabriel of the Act of Believer Ministry. Ala said the pastor claimed he could facilitate a job and visa in Canada through a company contact.
He explained that after collecting several documents, including his international passport data page and passport photographs, the pastor instructed him to go to a café to take his fingerprints using ink on plain paper.
