Segun Sowunmi, a Nigerian politician, spoke during an interview on Channels Television where he discussed a private conversation he had with President Bola Tinubu and some of the issues he raised during their meeting.

During the discussion, Sowunmi explained that the meeting involved several political matters which he considered important in relation to the country’s leadership and the direction of governance.

He stated that one of the topics he raised during the conversation was connected to political relationships and alliances that have developed within the country’s political space.

According to him, the discussion included the position of Nyesom Wike within the current political arrangement and the broader implications of that relationship in the Nigerian political environment.

Sowunmi indicated that his remarks during the conversation were presented as part of a wider exchange of views on political strategy and how different actors within the system interact with one another.

He further explained that beyond the matter relating to Wike, he also brought up issues that he believed were important for Nigeria’s long-term political and strategic direction.

Part of the matters he discussed included concerns about possible geopolitical developments and how actions by major global powers, particularly the United States, could affect Nigeria’s political and strategic interests.
