President Bola Tinubu has declared that terrorists will never find safety in Nigeria, promising that his administration will confront and defeat them completely, according to LEADERSHIP report on Tuesday March 17,
He made this statement while reacting to the recent attacks in Maiduguri, Borno State, which he described as desperate attempts by insurgents under pressure from the armed forces.
In a statement personally signed on March 17, 2026, Tinubu expressed grief over the loss of lives, sympathised with the injured, and assured residents of Borno of the Federal Government’s full support.
He commended Nigerian troops for repelling coordinated assaults on military positions and disclosed that he had approved additional equipment and operational support for security agencies.
