JUST IN: “Look, The Fear Of ADC, Is The Beginning Of Wisdom For APC–Salihu

According to a report by Daily Post on Monday, March 16, 2026, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ladan Salihu, has stated that the ruling party’s fear of the coalition party marks the start of wisdom.

He noted that the posture of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and their tendency to raise alarms whenever issues about the struggles of Nigerians are highlighted is questionable.

Salihu emphasized that the ruling party is presenting an image that Nigerians are not enduring hardship and that widespread poverty is not prevalent, despite what he described as poor governance.

He highlighted that the Tinubu administration and the APC have directed extensive efforts against the ADC, deploying significant resources in attempts to challenge the party’s position.

These efforts, according to Salihu, include taking legal actions through proxies and sponsored individuals with the intention of having the ADC deregistered.

He pointed out that the ruling party appears to be using every available avenue to counter the presence and influence of the ADC in the political landscape.

Salihu stressed that these actions reflect the ruling party’s apprehension about the growing relevance and visibility of the coalition party among Nigerians.

He suggested that the APC’s responses to ADC activities indicate a strategic concern about the potential impact of the coalition party on future elections.

Salihu argued that the ruling party’s legal maneuvers and public campaigns against the ADC are an acknowledgment of the party’s increasing influence in national politics.

He said, “Look, the fear of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, is the beginning of wisdom for the APC. That is why they have raised all the guns against our party. They run to court through their surrogates and sponsored actors to suggest that ADC should be deregistered.”
