Shaffy Bello, a veteran figure in Nollywood, has opened up about a personal decision she made more than two decades ago regarding her reproductive health, revealing that she underwent a procedure to permanently stop having children.
The actress shared the revelation during a candid panel discussion on motherhood featured on her YouTube platform, Shaffy Bello TV. While reflecting on her journey as a mother, Bello explained that she chose to have her fallopian tubes tied 26 years ago because she was certain she did not want a large family.
According to the actress, the decision came despite her former husband’s desire for more children. She admitted that while he tried to persuade her to expand their family, she remained firm in her resolve.
“My ex-husband had to beg for me to have another one. I didn’t want a lot of children. I wanted to stop. So, they went through my navel, went in there, did what they need to do, and they tied it up. That’s it. They closed my eggs,” she said. See More/Details
