Popular Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile has revealed that his parents initially rejected a house he bought for them due to doubts about the source of his sudden wealth.
The Zanku crooner made the disclosure during a recent episode of the YACN Podcast, where he recounted how his parents reacted after he rose to fame in 2019.
According to Zlatan, after gaining prominence in the music industry, he purchased his first house in Lekki and decided to gift it to his parents.
However, they initially declined the offer because they were unsure how he could afford such an expensive property within a short period.

He recalled that his parents questioned whether he had other undisclosed sources of income apart from music, expressing disbelief that he could acquire a house worth millions within a year of his breakthrough.
