Former presidential assistant and ambassador-designate Reno Omokri has charged supporters of Peter Obi with propagating misinformation about a remark that Bola Ahmed Tinubu made about the electricity supply.
In a statement uploaded on his social media page on Saturday, Omokri asserted that Tinubu’s remarks throughout the 2023 presidential race were twisted by Obi and certain journalists who supported the Obidient Movement.
He claimed that the former Labour Party candidate and his followers spread rumors that Tinubu had promised Nigerians 24-hour electricity in four years and that voters should not re-elect him if he failed to keep his promise. See More/Details
